Make your own Christmas jumper workshop

This Christmas workshop was held at Studio 91 in Norwich.

The aim of this project was to have festive fun designing, customising and creating our own unique couture Christmas jumpers, across a series of workshops.

We provided everything needed, inspirational ideas, fantastic fabrics, ribbons, bells and sequins galore.

The participants played with decadent fabric manipulation, frivolous fringing and elaborate embroidery to re-design one of their pre-loved jumpers.

At the same time as having fun, we introduced new sewing skills, which resulted in beautiful jumpers.

This was a positive and fun collaborative project, with participants taking home an amazing seasonal Christmas jumper and not adding to the unsustainable mountain of Christmas jumper waste.
